The pepper mill looks exactly as it does in the description and photos. Beautiful wood. It has a high-quality feel. I am satisfied with the haptic experience and the fairly coarse grind. One point deducted for the rather poor grind adjustment. Anyone who likes a really fine grind won't be sat...read moreisfied. Furthermore, the nut used to "lock" the spindle is too loosely positioned. Sometimes it holds the grind setting, sometimes it doesn't, and it increasingly comes loose during grinding. It's also a shame that the "centering ring" under the lid, which holds the axle in the middle of such an expensive grinder, is made of plastic. It creates a wow effect for visitors. It looks great. I wouldn't buy it again for the high price. Especially because the salt mill is not convincing in terms of grinding result/sprinkling quantity. Here everyone wants to have the right salt mill to go with their pepper mill!
