Unfortunately, the salt mill is disappointing. Main criticism: There is simply too little salt coming out! Both with coarser rock salt and the slightly finer one included! The €3 salt mill from Aldi with a plastic grinder delivers better results! Deductions for the rather poor grind adjustment...read more. Furthermore, the nut used to "lock" the spindle is too loosely positioned. Sometimes it holds the grind setting, sometimes it doesn't, and it increasingly comes loose during grinding. It's also a shame that the "centering ring" under the lid, which holds the axle in the middle of such an expensive grinder, is made of plastic. Positive: It looks exactly as described in the description and photos. Beautiful wood. It has a high-quality feel. The grinder and price/performance ratio are not right.

Product arrived with wood chips inside and residual salt. Replacement product arrived again with defects but only on the outside.
