Very nice Pepper grinder. This is our second one, one for black pepper corns and one for white. The grind adjustment works well.

Classic case of form over function. The grinder is gorgeous: the shape, the stained wood, and the stainless steel top. The construction and function is where it really fails. The stainless steel top doesn't stay snug against the wood base, and feels like it's going to fall off. Unless of course you ...read morereally tighten the top button, but then you're limited to only a really fine ground. Plus, the ground pepper shoots to the side--not straight down--so you tend to miss your food target. Definitely doesn't perform as well as it looks.

What is astonishing is that with all the mills, the upper part is not centered to the lower part when the ground material is filled in. I would not have expected that. However, the function and grinding result are not affected in any way and are, as expected, excellent.
