In addition to its stylish design and grind performance, this 30 cm Paris Nature Dark salt mill also boasts an exemplary manufacturing process, since the body is made from upcycled PEFC™-certified beech. Some of the wood is discarded during manufacturing if it contains visual imperfections, although its qualities remain intact, so those pieces of wood are upcycled to make the body for this mill. The body is first blasted with ground nutshells and then protected with a coloured varnish comprising linseed oil and carnauba wax. The textured finish causes the original colour to appear halftone, which creates the mill's unique organic look. The grind setting can be adjusted with the button. It comes already filled with pink salt sourced from the Alps with a high mineral and trace element content. - Made in France - Mill crafted from pieces of wood that have been discarded after painting and subsequently upcycled - Wood sourced from French PEFC™-certified forests - A coloured eco-friendly plant-based varnish of linseed oil and carnauba wax - Textured finish produced by blasting the mill body with ground nutshells - Mechanism carries a lifetime warranty - Grind adjustment button - Five-year warranty for the mill - For grinding dry salt (rock salt) with a crystal size of less than or equal to 4 mm - Ready for use: includes pink salt sourced from the Alps with a high mineral and trace element content - Do not use wet sea salt (even dried)

Too bad the pepper shaker is not exactly the same color as the salt shaker... When they are next to each other, we notice a visual difference. Pay attention to this when buying them in pairs. Otherwise, good quality.

The grinding level setting is not really satisfactory compared to our pepper mill, which is also from Peugeot. This one can change the grinding level setting by turning the lower end, which is much more convenient and precise than using the button at the top of the mill
