Its also grinds the pepper effortlessly and I have received many positive comments about my Mignonette grinders from dinner guests. In addition, I like that these grinders also come in stainless steel finish, so it's a welcome additional to prospective buyers with varied budgets. I ordered the Pepper mill version. I received a mill with the pepper grinding mechanism. Unfortunately the opening for spices is for dry salt. Peppercorns will not fit through the slots. I enmailed customer service about it and never received a response. I love Peugeot mills and own several. I’ll mo...read moredify the opening to fit peppercorns and keep the mill. I’ll buy more mills. But sadly Peugeot’s customer service does not match the quality of their goods.
