    The diameter of the glass jar is smaller than that of my model. I have to hold it in place with rubber bands!!

I attempted to reach you by phone regarding this matter and left you a voicemail. Please feel free to call us back at your convenience. Please note that we recently made a technical modification to the glass of our Paris Press to make it easier to remove. Previously, it was particularly difficult to remove, which posed a potential risk of breakage. I can reassure you, however: this development will not affect the proper functioning of your Paris Press, and there is no need to block the glass.
