The Paris Nature 18cm salt mill is unique having been entirely conceived to be more resource efficient, and more respectful of the environment as well as meet Peugeout's ambition to create tools that enhance everyday life. During the manufacturing cycle of our mills, some of the wood is discarded if its appearance or texture is considered to be flawed. However, the intrinsic qualities remain intact and so an original texturing is carried out by spraying crushed walnut shells onto the body of the salt mill to give it an authentic look and touch. This is then protected by an eco-friendly varnish of linseed oil and carnauba wax to preserve the natural character of the wood and ensure its maximum longevity so you can always count on your salt mill to do what it does best and provide many refined moments of taste.
